Josh is the Creative Production Lead at PitStop Productions, overseeing the creative pipelines of all projects recorded at their Voice and Motion Capture facilities in London. His passion for capturing amazing performances, with a focus on bringing out the nuance of the dialogue, is what underpins his direction, and drives him to innovate in his field of work. “As video games and capture technologies develop, we have exciting opportunities to use these tools to support authentic and engaging performances.”

With over two decades of experience in audio production, half of that spent exclusively on video game dialogue and performance, Josh brings a unique and distinctive style to the dialogue and productions he works with. He has over 60 game titles to his name, including award-winning Baldur’s Gate III, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and has worked with studios such as Sony, Square Enix, and Sega.

Throughout the course of this talk it is our intention to explain, educate and demystify the process for actors, developers, writers and producers. We will be covering the benefits from an actors and directors perspective on the safety it offers to engage in intimate material. From a project manager’s perspective on how intimacy coordinated sessions can fit into a voice production pipeline. And from the point of view of the Intimacy Coordinator themselves offering insight into their process.
