Develop:Brighton is open to everyone
We are committed to diversity, inclusion and accessibility.
Our venue – DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, complies with DDA Guidelines, and all areas of Develop:Brighton are accessible via ramps and lifts.
For anyone who requires any accessibility support, we have an Accessibility Check-In located in the Speakers Lounge, just off the main registration area on the ground floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel. When you arrive, please head straight to the lounge where you'll be greeted by a Develop:Brighton Support Manager who will have your pass ready printed for you. The Support Manager will provide you with any information you may need and if required, will guide you to your preferred location within the event. They will be your point of contact throughout the event, should you need any help or support.
Our volunteers (in red t-shirts) can also be found in the lobby at all times and will be happy to help show you accessible routes or answer any questions.
Accessible features include:
- Wheelchair ramp for lobby/reception access
- Accessible routes and lifts (with audible alerts, braille and lowered buttons) to all areas of the event
- Accessible parking spaces in the hotel car park
- Service animals welcome
- Visual alarms for hearing impaired in public areas
We are also introducing The Wellbeing Hub this year - a dedicated space to pause, reset and recharge throughout the event. Delivered in partnership with Safe In Our World, Women in Games and SpecialEffect, the programme has been built to highlight our commitment to supporting wellbeing across the games industry. Whether you're looking for a moment of quiet reflection, a guided mindfulness practice, movement, relaxation, or simply a peaceful place to gather your thoughts, The Wellbeing Hub is designed to support you. Classes are available to pre-book, or you can pop in and use the space throughout the event. Find out more here.
