David Monteith
Actor



David Monteith is screen, theatre and voice actor of over 20 years experience. He has an international Shakespeare portfolio and has appeared in plays by the likes of Benjamin Zephaniah (Da Botty Business), Brian Clemens (Murder Hunt ) & Suzan Lori-Parkes (Topdog/Underdog).
Amongst other venues he has featured at The Orange Tree (Play Mas & The tempest), The Duchess Theatre ( Fences with Lenny Henry) and The National Theatre (The Curious Case of the Dog in The Nighttime & Nye with Michael Sheen)
He recently appeared in the film Gassed Up and the Short film Matchbox with Charlotte Ritchie and Simon Callow
His Voice career covers Documentary, ADR, commercial/corporate work, audio drama, audio books, animation and video games.
His latest audiobook is the acclaimed anthology Januaries by Olivie Blake. His audio drama cv includes work for Big Finish, Alternative Stories and B7 Media.
In terms of video games this is David's 2nd year in a row contributing to Bafta and The Game Award winners.
He has played Neuras in Metaphor Refantazio, and appeared in Baldurs Gate 3, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, Age of Water, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Dead Island 2 and Astrologaster.
He is currently recording 2 animations, and 3 AAA games so guess what, he can't tell you about them!
He is the first black podcaster in the UK and has the only podcast that made the transition to TV in the form of 2 documentaries on BBC iPlayer
