A curiosity for what makes people behave the way they do has been the foundation for Stephen's 15+ year career in the games industry. Having launched and worked on multiple Games-as-a-Service titles over that time from Guild Wars 2, SMITE, Paladins and more he's experienced the highs and lows of games development many times over, working in a variety of marketing and analytics roles. Along the way he's explored the changes in consumer behaviour and game discoverability in a variety of conference talks, including Develop, Ukie's Student Conference and at University of Brighton. His experiences working on PC, console and mobile games over varying scales have allowed him to work with a variety of great people and teams, while appreciating the unique challenges that each game faces in the market when combined with its available budgets.
