Patty Toledo is the Director of Developer Relations at YAHAHA, a pioneering world-class user generated content (UGC) no code metaverse launching later this year. YAHAHA is a free social entertainment platform that empowers both creators and players at all levels to come together to combine virtual and real life in multidimensional ways. Patty is also Leader of IGDA Sweden, focusing on the growth, development and recognition of Sweden’s booming games sector. Originally from Brazil, and now based in Sweden, Patty’s impressive career has spanned continents and industries. Working in the music and creative media industries for almost 30 years, Patty connected with acclaimed artists Iron Maiden, Metallica and Bon Jovi before channelling her experience into wider entertainment, finding her calling in games production. In the gaming industry, Patty worked at a renowned media outlet, Steel Media, before taking over Game ON Mid Sweden and IGDA Sweden in 2021. At YAHAHA, Patty brings extensive experience in artist relations, from the gaming industry and beyond. Patty’s vision for YAHAHA is to advocate for and create the building blocks of a metaverse universe. Bringing together the virtual and physical worlds, elevating creator and player experience beyond current limitations. Working closely with developers, music partners, fashion labels, and influencer connections, through YAHAHA Patty is making games and entertainment accessible to everyone. She is proud to give the world the opportunity to express themselves through art with no limitations. Patty, previously an MMA fighter, also speaks fluent English, German and Spanish, with a good knowledge of Finnish, Japanese, Korean and Swedish.
