Nick is an accountant specialising in the Video Games sector and other creative industries. He has been involved in the Creative Industries since 2006 and assisted with the introduction of VGTR in 2014 and the transition to VGEC from 2024. Nick has a 100% success record for creative industries tax credit claims in video games, film, TV and animation with over 700 claims made to date and over £540 million cash repaid to clients in claims of £10,000 to £30 million.
Nick is founder of Affect Group which is a full-service accountancy firm to the creative industries and entrepreneurial clients. Nick is a fellow of the ACCA (governing body for accountants) and member of the CIOT (governing body for tax practitioners).
